Welcome! Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. It describes how Myselfland (“we,” “us,” or “our”), as the operator of the website www.myself.land (“Website”) and the Myselfland mobile application (“App”), together referred to as the “Services,” collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our Services.
Throughout this Privacy Policy, we refer to any person accessing or using the Services as “you,” or the “User.” “Personal Data” refers to any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. This Privacy Policy is part of, and is governed by, the terms and conditions set forth in our Terms of Service located at https://myself.land/terms.
We don’t collect more than needed. Your Personal Data is used only to provide and improve our Services. We never sell your Personal Data and never share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your consent.
By using the Website and the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Types of Data Collected
We may collect personal and other information from you directly when you provide it to us through the Website and the App. We may also automatically collect certain information about you when you and your mobile or other device use, access, or interact with our Services.
Personal Data Provided by You
The Website and App may receive personal information you provide directly in order to administer your use of the Services, and to provide and improve our Services. This includes your email address and other contact details when you reach out to support through the in-app chatbot, the feedback form on our Website, or by email).
You can use our Services without submitting any Personal Data. Previously, registering an account was required to use certain features of the App; if you registered in an earlier version, you would have provided your name, email address, and other registration information, which we used to give you access to those features.
Starting with App version 2.0.0, signing in is no longer required. If you previously had an account, your saved Favorites are automatically carried over to local storage on your device when the App is updated to version 2.0.0, and remain there — stored locally rather than synced to an account — until you delete or reinstall the App. Any purchases you’ve made stay tied to your Apple ID or Google account and remain yours to keep: you can restore them at any time, even after reinstalling the App or switching devices. You can delete your account at any time in the App’s settings (My Account section). Starting with App version 2.0.1, signing in will be discontinued entirely, and User accounts and their associated personal data will be deleted from our database.
User Content
It is possible for you to submit your own content in the App, such as answers to guided prompts or conversations within the “Emotional Navigator” feature. Myselfland does not read or access any of your private user content. The “Emotional Navigator” works entirely on your device, following pre-set scripts, without the use of artificial intelligence and without transmitting any data to a server. Your conversation exists only during the active session and is fully deleted — including from the device cache — as soon as you navigate to another screen in the App. We do not have access to, and cannot read, the content of these conversations.
Automatically Collected Usage Data
On the Website, we use automatic collection methods such as cookies (a small amount of information containing a unique string of characters, sent to your browser from the Website’s servers and stored on the hard drive of your computer or device), web beacons (a technology used to track activity, also known as pixel tags), and similar technologies. Examples of the information we collect and analyze using these methods include (but are not limited to): the IP address used to connect your computer or device to the internet; your email address; and the type and version of the operating system and platform of your computer or device. We use software tools to evaluate and collect session data, including page response times, loading errors, duration of visits to individual pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and hovering over elements), and the methods used to transition to other pages.
The App similarly automatically collects technical information: the type of mobile device used, operating system version, and other diagnostic data, as well as session data (frequency and duration of use).
When using web and app analytics tools (for example, to gather usage statistics or monitor app crashes), we apply IP anonymization — truncating part of the IP address before it is stored — in accordance with GDPR and similar data protection requirements.
Automatically collected information is used by us for anonymous analytics. We use it, and may allow third-party service providers who support the Website and App to access it, in order to improve how the Website and App function, enhance their content, and make them more convenient to use. In other words, we’re working to make the Website and App even more convenient, appealing, and enjoyable for our Users.
If a User contacts support, automatically collected device data may also be used to help resolve the technical issue raised.
Payment Information
Third-party payment processing. When you make a purchase in the App, your payment is processed through the built-in third-party services of the applicable app store (App Store or Google Play), in accordance with that store’s own privacy policy. We never have access to your payment details or your app store account.

The information collected by the App and the Website may be used to:
- provide and maintain our Services, including monitoring usage, handling technical issues, and processing refunds;
- provide customer support and respond to your requests;

- comply with our legal obligations and resolve any disputes we may have;

Sharing and Disclosing Your Personal Information
- We may share your anonymous usage data with third-party service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Services — for example, using Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website (you can learn more at policies.google.com/privacy and opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
- We may share or transfer your Personal Data in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Myselfland’s assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business by another company.
- We may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to a subpoena, search warrant, or other valid request by public authorities (such as a court or government agency), to ensure user safety, to investigate or prevent illegal activity or suspected fraud, to address situations involving a potential threat to someone’s safety, or to otherwise protect our rights in accordance with the law.
- We may disclose your Personal Data to fulfill any other purpose for which you provide your information and consent.
How You Can Regulate the Collection of Information
- You can choose and control what Personal Data you provide, and what information is automatically collected, by controlling your use of the Website and App.
- We won’t have your email address or other Personal Data unless you provide it yourself — for example, by contacting support or subscribing to our newsletter.
- If you don’t want the Website to collect information via cookies, you can decline them by clicking the relevant option in the cookie notice when you first visit the Website. Most browsers also let you accept or decline most cookies through their own settings.
- You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email.
- You can stop all data collection by the App at any time simply by deleting it from your device.
- You can access the Personal Data we hold about you, request its correction or deletion, or request that we restrict its processing. To exercise any of your data subject rights under the GDPR, including by withdrawing your consent, please contact us.
Retention of Your Personal Data
We retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements and policies.
We also retain automatically collected usage data for internal analysis purposes. Usage data is generally retained for a shorter period, except where it’s used to strengthen security or improve the functionality of our Services, or where we’re legally obligated to retain it longer.
When you contact us through the Website or the App, we maintain your contact information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it. If you’d like us to remove this information from our database, please contact us.
Security of Your Personal Data
We take the security of your Personal Data seriously. This information is available only to authorized personnel and is used solely for the purposes described above. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at our operating offices and in other locations where the parties involved in processing are based. This means your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside your country or other governmental jurisdiction, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy, followed by your submission of such information, represents your agreement to that transfer.
We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed, and we do not transfer your Personal Data to an organization or country without adequate controls in place to protect it.
Children’s Privacy
Our Website and App are not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from anyone under 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Links to Other Websites
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of every site you visit; we are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites.
Compliance with GDPR and Other Privacy Laws
If you are located in the European Economic Area, we process your Personal Data in compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) — including the rights described above to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your Personal Data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
If you are a resident of a US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have similar rights to know, access, correct, and delete your Personal Data. We do not sell Personal Data for monetary or other valuable consideration; the transfer of information described above in connection with a potential business transfer is not considered a “sale” under applicable law.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes take effect once posted on this page.
